Aundh Museum:

The museum is approximately a 1.15 hrs drive from the hotel. It is an mesmerising treat for history & art lovers. The construction of the museum began in April 1937 & was completed in July 1938. Varugad Fort - 27.3km:

Varugad fort is situated in the Satara region of Sahyadris, at a distance of 27 kms from the hotel. The hill fort is built at a height of 2,900 ft. Bhairavnath temple and the fortification remains are the key attractions of the fort.

Thoseghar Waterfalls - 88.0km:

Thoseghar waterfalls is a scenic spot located near the small village of Thoseghar, 88 km from Phaltan city, at the edge of the Konkan region. There are a series of waterfalls, some of them 15 to 20 metres and one of 500 metres in height. People come from all over Maharashtra to visit the area, especially during the rainy or monsoon season, July to November. Heavy rain falls during that season, and because of this the falls have more water and are more spectacular. The immediate area is calm and quiet, with a clean lake and dark woods in a hilly area.

Sajjangad - 80.0km:

Sajjangad is 80 kms from Phaltan where Samarth Ramdas took his Samadhi. Sajjangad is 3000 ft above sea level. Samarth Ramdas was an inspiration and mentor and a spiritual teacher/Guru to the Great Maratha King Chatrapatti Shivaji Maharaj in his fight for Swaraj.

Ajinkyatara Fort - 66.0km:

Ajinkyatara ( meaning ""The Impregnable Star"") is a fort on one of the seven mountains surrounding the city of Satara in the Sahayadri Mountains of Maharashtra. It is a 16th Century fort. The fort is located at Ajinkyatara Mountain, which is 3,300 feet high. As the fort is in the higher altitude, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the entire Satara city. In 1708, Shahu Maharaj won Ajinkyatara, remained with the Marathas till 1818. The Ajinkyatara fort is a major historic place of Maharashtra, and was very vital as one could keep watch of the entire South Maharashtra. "This was the place where Tarabai was imprisoned by Shahu."

Kaas Lake - 89.8km:

Kaas lake is on the south of the Kaas Plateau and is surrounded by dense forests and lies between Sajjangad fort and the Kanher Dam.It is just like a bowl carved out of the Sahyadri mountains. Koyna project is around 30 km towards the south of Kaas Lake. Kas Pathar - 80.0km:

Kas Pathar/Kas Plateau is about 80 kms from Phaltan city.It is where one finds the Valley of Flowers during monsoon, ie. in month of August/September. Nearly 300 different kinds of species of flowering plants, orchids (more than 150 types), shrubs and grasses can be spotted here. Many of the flowering plants are insect eaters ie these plants are carnivorous in nature. The flowering plants also bring in different types of birds amongst which one is bulbul. It has been declared as Biodiversity World Heritage Site by The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco).

Dhom Dam - 74.0km:

Dhom Dam, is a very beautiful picnic spot located at a distance of 74 kms from hotel. This Dam is built on Krishna river.

Dhumalwadi Waterfall - 27.0km:

Dhumalwadi waterfall is a one day picnic spot located at 27 kms from Phaltan.The scenery immediately changes from village to beautiful greenery.The Best time to visit is the monsoon season.

Ram Mandir - 8.0km:

Situated a distance of 8 kms from Jakson Inns, it is an old Temple of Shri Ram, who is said to be Gram daivat of the city.

Jabreshwar Mandir - 11.0km:

Temple of lord Shiva which is called as Jabreshwar Mandir is located 11 kms from Jakson Inns, Phaltan.It is the oldest temple in phaltan, almost 800 years old and has beautiful stone carvings.

Jejuri Temple - 45km:

Jejuri Temple is located in the Jejuri town, around 45 kms from Phaltan.The town is known for being the venue of one of the revered temples in the state, known as the Khandobachi Jejuri. This temple is dedicated to Khandoba, also known as Mhalsakant (Avatar of Lord Shiva) or Malhari Martand. Khandoba is regarded as the 'God of Jejuri'.

Pandharpur - 115.0km:

Bamnoli - 99.0km:

This is probably the easiest way to experience the lakes of Switzerland, right in Maharashtra! Bamnoli village on the banks of the Shivsagar lake formed due to the Koyna dam is a small community of people, who mainly cater to the tourists wanting to visit Vasota fort, Nageshwar Shiv Temple and also Tapola. Located at a distance of 99 km from Phaltan, one can just go for a ride around the shivsagar lake or, go for a boat trip to Tapola, also known as mini kaskashmir. One can also go on a guided tour to Vasota fort or the famous nageshwar Shiv temple.
